10 Humor: Old Days explained to daughter.

I called my daughter over and I told her I'm getting tired of all the sob stories at the conventions and at the Olympics, people saying they were poor and overcame difficulties.

My sister and I said to her, when we went to school there were people who had buck teeth, hair lip, crossed eyes, missing teeth, awful haircuts, limps, club foot, scars, stutterers and people who were barefoot or bowlegged. It was common to see decayed or broken teeth.

Just then the ghost of my mother came to my mind and she said "You went to a 'special school'".

    LOL

LOl isn't that the truth. I knew kids that when they got a bad cut their moms sewed them up with fishing line.
