    5 Looking for a story.

    Years ago, I read a story about a man and his daughter that was on a trip. I think he was a traveling salesman. While on the trip, TSHTF. They made some homemade "powerbars" While staying in a motel??? It had a recipe of nuts, oatmeal, chocolate, lard, etc. They had to walk home. People were chasing them and so forth. After getting to their hometown, they had to stay in quarantine for 21 days (???)

    It was probably on the squirrel site. Does anybody remember the story??

    I recall the story, he was a plumber if i recall correctly. made winter clothes from sheet foam and white sheets. Sorry, can remember most of story and plot and conclusion, cannot remember the title.

    Yeah. He drove a truck similar to a bread truck. He had a propane tank mounted to the back of it too.
